From a young age, music has been a constant presence in my life thanks to my dad, DJ Wheelan. I spent many weekends at his place surrounded by the sounds of house, garage, jungle, soul, reggae, and disco. Even as a child, I was immersed in his DJing world, often joining him at gigs and hanging around his equipment.

Living with my dad in Lewisham during my teenage years, I remained deeply influenced by the music of my upbringing. In Year 10 (2020/21), I began DJing myself, inspired by friends who were also getting into music. I started on a battered DDJ-200 controller, focusing on old-school garage and jungle. Keen to improve, I regularly practised on my dad’s turntables, learning the art of vinyl mixing, especially garage tunes, which were easier to handle as I developed my skills and personal style.

By late 2022, I had my dad’s DJ setup in my room but worked super-hard and with passion and commitment I was soon able to invest in my own kit. That investment in time and money enabled me to practice hard and after a while I began playing parties then holding a residency in Bexleyheath. After a few smaller radio appearances, I landed a show on UK Raw London in 2023. Despite taking a short break in 2024 for the birth of my son, Kade, I’ve continued to push for a regular radio slot with cover shows and am now proud to be part of the Eruption Radio Team!
