Inspired by the acid house explosion of the late \u201980s, he began DJing in 1989 and soon dived deep into the UK rave scene. By 1991, he was co-running events under the Pygnosis banner and, a year later, supplying gear to legendary venues like the Casbah Club and Caf\u00e9 de Paris.<\/p>\n

Through the \u201990s, his sound evolved from hardcore to house, trance, and back to the oldskool roots he championed on pirate radio\u2014highlighted by a standout 1995 set at London\u2019s Marquee. In the 2000s, he launched Total Sounds in Reading, a hub for DJs that also offered vinyl and equipment hire.<\/p>\n
