Rob Smillie

Old school Rob was there from the beginning. The Hackney born DJ first started attending soul and rave groove nights at an early age in the local warehouses. He soon switched after being influenced by the Chicago house sound and the DJ bug took hold. (Steve Jackson & Todd Terry saw to that!)

With a passion for rocking a dancefloor led Smillie took a different route and DJ’d abroad on the summer seasons, holding down residences in Limassol, Faliraki and Magaluf, but wasn’t a stranger to the pirate radio scene

With over twenty years of experience with various underground stations such as Flava, Chillin, Origin and Vision Radio Rob Smillie plays a prestigious mix of Acid House, old skool dance classics, hardcore/rave, UK Garage, soul and hip hop classics.
